I am not a fan of a lot of the music the younger generation listens to these days. Man that makes me sound old, but I don't know how else to say it.
For some reason a while back, I saw a video of Beyonce's song "Put a Ring on It'. It was one of the most excruciatingly painful things I have seen for a while and could not bring myself to watch the entire three and half minutes of it. Thank goodness we live in a free society and I could turn it off.
Today, I came across this video of the same song. Still three and a half minutes, but I was hooked. I thought it was so funny and I hope you do too.
I couldn't embed her actual video, which really didn't disappoint me, but I wanted you to see it if you hadn't already. Let's just say, the gentleman in this video are dressed for a blizzard compared to what she and her dancers have on in the actual video! I am sure her momma is so proud!

HA!! That was great. I've never seen Beyonce's video, but if it's like the couple I HAVE seen, I'm guessing it basically consists of her wearing a napkin and gyrating all over the place.
Yeah, I don't care much for secular music these days...
Oh, and whatever she was wearing in the real video, her momma probably WAS proud - she (at least used to) designs all of Beyonce's costumes. Er, I mean clothes. Have you ever seen the atrocities Beyonce's sister Solange wears from the "House of Dereon"? (That's their designer clothing line). UGLY.

Very funny - Julie was right - Beyonce's mom designs a lot of the small pieces of material they wear. I believe the concept is - anything for money.
