A week ago today, I was getting everything packed away, getting ready for the long ride home from Galveston!
We had such a great time and now I can relive it over and over. I finished my Scrapblog today! I am so excited. I am going to have it printed off so we will a keepsake from our wonderful trip.
I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Remember, click on the scrapblog emblem on the bottom right, then click full screen. You can then adjust the volume and speed.

I Woke Up in the Real World This Morning!
Vacation is over and I had to come back to work this morning. Oh, don't get me wrong. I have one of the best jobs ever and I love it. I work with great people and have a wonderful boss. But anyone would agree with me, vacation is so much better! All weekend, Frank and I have tried to figure out how we could stay on vacation, traveling, fishing and doing all those things we love, but still get the same pay checks that we get each month.
Oh well, at least we both have jobs we like and have retirement to look forward too.
I have been editing pictures all weekend and will be getting my scrapblog together soon. I hope you all have a great week, and if you ever figure out how we can get paid without working, let us know!

A Quick Hello
Hello from beautiful Galveston Island, Texas! The weather is hot but the fun is great! Traffic was terrible on Monday but the rest of the trip has been wonderful. Late lunches both days and late naps as well.
As I type, Mattie May is still asleep. We have spent the day at Moody Gardens. She has enjoyed the fish and penguins at the aquarium, walked with the dinosaurs at Dinos Alive exhibit and we finished our day there with a ride on the Colonel, an old paddle boat. Then lunch with elephants and gorillas at Rainforest Cafe.
When she wakes up we are going swimming then to play miniature golf at this cute place down the seawall.
Can't wait to share my pictures with you all!
God bless you all.

IT'S FRIDAY!!!
Yes it is, Friday is finally here! This has been a very long week. But if you look at my counter at the top you will see we will be gone on vacation for awhile. I will try to post some while I am gone but I am planing on having so much fun that I won't have time to post.
So don't miss me while I am gone, but pray for us to have a safe and fun trip! I will certainly have pictures for you when I return!!!

Bitter Sweet
Yesterday was a very bitter sweet day for me.
The sweet - my baby turned 25! I can't believe that Katie is a quarter of a century. It seems she should be about Mattie May's size, being her silly self and passing out her special love to everyone she would meet.
The bitter - I attended the memorial for my boss's 25 year old son that died over the weekend from a drug overdose. He was such a sweet and loving young man that could just never find his place in life. He will live in our hearts forever.
