Today's Verse

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
1 Corinthians 15:51-53/NIV

Western Heritage Classic Parade

Thursday night, we went to the Western Heritage Parade. Mattie May just loves parades. This one is fun because it is at night. The weather is usually nice and it is just a lot of fun. Chris, Nikki, Lindsey and Caleb went with us too. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

The Western Heritage Classic combines a lot of different activities into one fun weekend. There are chuckwagon cookoffs, bit and spur shows, competition for the kiddos, and the ranch rodeo. It is all a fun time. WHC is always the same weekend in May as Mother's day. Come check it out some time.

What a wonderful story! Nothing like a parade and lots of horses to set the tone for a western celebration. Sweet pictures and obviously lots of fun. I saw the Budweiser horses and dalmatian dogs at their place in St. Louis - if there were such a thing as reincarnation we should all come back as one of their animals! LOL -
