But I do believe the most exciting thing was Mattie May got to place her first entry in the fair. There is one category for Pre-Beginners in the Youth Hobbies and Crafts. She entered George, a ceramic bulldog she painted for me at Christmas. Here is a picture of her turning in her entry.
It was a bit difficult for her to understand that we would have to leave it there for a week, but she was finally OK with that. What she was most unhappy with was the fact all the rides were there and we wouldn't let her ride them! It took a minute but she did get in the car so we could come home.

Hope Mattie May does well at the Fair - great confidence builder for a kid to enter the fair and see their entry in the exhibit hall. Good luck to you also on the scrapblog entry! Thanks for coming by my blog - things are kind of rugged for us but God is in control and we are along for the ride (maybe we are a little like Mattie May - hesitant to get in the car but eventually returning home!)
